Why homes choose infrared underfloor heating
Wet underfloor heating needs pipes, screed and a boiler. Infrared film is thin, quick to lay and has nothing to service.

How much does infrared underfloor heating cost?
£100 per square metre, fitted. Use the cost estimator above, then we confirm a fixed price after a free survey.
What warranty does the film have?
Up to 30 years on the Diamond underfloor heating film.
What floors can it go under?
Most laminate, engineered wood, vinyl and LVT floors, and carpet with a lower-output film. We confirm the right film and underlay at survey.
Do I have to lift my floor?
Yes. The film is laid under the floor finish, so it suits renovations, new floors and extensions best.
How long does it take to install?
Typically around two hours per area once the floor is up, by our own Glasgow team.
Can it be the only heating in my home?
In well-insulated rooms it can. In older or draughtier rooms we may suggest pairing it with infrared panels. We look at this at survey.
Is it expensive to run?
You heat only the rooms you use, on their own thermostat. Running it on cheaper stored power with a home battery can bring costs down further.
Does it need servicing?
No. There is no boiler, no pipework and nothing to service.
Is it suitable for bathrooms and kitchens?
Yes, these are some of the most popular rooms for it, freeing up wall space and keeping tiles warm.
Do you cover my area?
We install across mainland Scotland from our Glasgow base. See the areas we cover.
